Affordable Housing Investment Programme (AHIP) Projects Completed Since 2009 SHIP Submission Lomond Drive, Langlees This project involved the demolition of 3 blocks of Council-owned flats comprising 60 properties in the Dawson Regeneration Area. Link Group was completed on 9 th June 2009 and provided a total of 32 dwellings comprising: 10 shared ownership, 17 rented and 5 shared equity properties. Lomond Drive, Langlees Wood Street, Grangemouth The project involved the demolition of 6 Council-owned blocks of flats comprising 98 dwellings. Link Group have built a total of 73 new affordable homes comprising: 46 social rented, 16 shared ownership, 11 shared equity properties and these were completed in June 2010. Wood Street, Grangemouth Craigleith Road, Grangemouth This project involved the demolition of 3 blocks of Council-owned flats comprising 72 dwellings. Link Group have delivered 32 social rented units apportioned between themselves and Paragon Housing Associations. This scheme was completed in March 2010. The opening of Craigleith Road, Grangemouth with Alex Neil, Minister for Housing & Communities on 7th July 2010 Torwoodlea, Larbert This project was developed in partnership with Link Housing Association and Persimmon Homes and provided 43 social rented properties. Affordable Housing Investment Programme (AHIP) Projects Currently on Site Mayfield Drive, Longcroft The Council is working in partnership with Link Group to provide 16 social rented properties on this site. Link acquired the site from Falkirk Council and work started in early February this year with an estimated completion in autumn 2010. Mayfield Drive under construction Layout - Mayfield Drive, Long- Elevation - Mayfield Drive, Longcroft McTaggart Avenue, Denny The Council is working in partnership with Horizon Housing Association to deliver 10 social rented units of which 2 are designated for special needs. Horizon acquired the site from Falkirk Council and Paragon Housing Association. The project started on site in February 2010 with an estimated completion in early 2011.
