Islam.<br />

- understand that, because of greed and selfishness,<br />

the wealthy and powerful always oppose the Prophets.<br />

- realise that among disbelievers too there are kind people.<br />

- learn that disbelievers resort to violence and cruelty<br />

in an attempt to silence the truth.<br />

- understand that the disbelievers, despite their apparent<br />

strength, are great cowards.<br />

- discover that early Muslims were dedicated to Islam.<br />

- understand that a Muslim always persevers in preaching<br />

Islam.<br />

- recognize that Prophets are very patient and forgiving.<br />

- appreciate that Prophets are the greatest well-wishers<br />

BY THE END OF THIS LESSON THE CHILD<br />

- listen to an extract being read out by the teacher<br />

about the cruelty of the Quraysh<br />

- complete a word selection exercise for comprehension<br />

- learn a new Ayah and a new Hadith<br />

- listen to a story about the cruelty of the Quraysh and<br />

the Prophet’s [s] experiences in Ta’if<br />

- find suitable meanings for the difficult words<br />

- identify the specific teachings of the story<br />

- solve a maze puzzle based on the story<br />

- answer an important question related to the lesson
