Nabi Muhammad [s] smiled at<br />

Suraqah, and how beautiful was the<br />

Prophet’s [s] smile. “You are forgiven,<br />

O Suraqah!” It was with his kindness<br />

and mercy that Prophet<br />

Muhammad [s] conquered the<br />

hearts of his enemies.<br />

“Please allow me to serve you, O<br />

Muhammad, in any way you may<br />

wish.” Nabi Muhammad [s] then<br />

asked Suraqah only not to tell the<br />

Quraysh where he was. He did not<br />

want anyone, not even his enemies,<br />

to be punished by Allah for trying to<br />

harm him. Nabi Muhammad [s] was<br />

the kindest and most forgiving man.<br />

No sooner did the Prophet [s] utter<br />

these words but Suraqah hurried<br />

back to Makkah. “Muhammad is<br />

nowhere to be found. It would be<br />

better if you tried serching<br />

elswhere,” he said to them. The bit-<br />
