completion of the MEC response actions should be remediated using the ecological screening values<br />

identified in the <strong>Site</strong> 39 ROD Amendment.<br />

2.6 <strong>Site</strong> 3<br />

In November 2006, the US Department of the Army (Army) issued the Post-Remediation Ecological<br />

Habitat Sampling and Analysis Plan (Shaw, 2006d). Data collected under this plan should be used to<br />

evaluate the need for continued future monitoring and should be reported during the next five year<br />

review.<br />

2.7 OUCTP ROD<br />

The Operable Unit Carbon Tetrachloride (CT) Plume ROD should be finalized and the remedy should be<br />

implemented.<br />

2.8 Track 0 ROD<br />

In the future, should any ordnance-related items be found within any of the areas addressed in the Track 0<br />

ROD, the Army should take appropriate immediate action (i.e., removing the found item, recording the<br />

incident), and within 90 days of the discovery, submit a plan for appropriate follow-on action to EPA and<br />

DTSC for consultation.<br />

2.9 Track 1 ROD<br />

As described in the Track 1 ROD, at the time of the next five-year review (2012), the Army should assess<br />

whether the MEC safety education program should continue. If information indicates that no MEC items<br />

have been found in the course of development or redevelopment of the site, it is expected that the<br />

education program may, in consultation with the concurrence of the regulatory agencies, be discontinued,<br />

subject to reinstatement if a MEC item is encountered in the future.<br />

2.10 Parker Flats Munitions Response Area, Track 2 ROD<br />

The Parker Flats Munitions Response (MR) Area, Track 2 ROD should be finalized.<br />

2.11 Interim Action <strong>Site</strong>s Munitions Response ROD<br />

The remaining explosive risks at SCA at MR <strong>Site</strong>-Ranges 43-48 should be evaluated under the MR<br />

Remedial Investigation/Feasibility Study (RI/FS) program. MEC remediation at Range 30A should be<br />

evaluated as a component of the Track 3 MR RI/FS.<br />

2.12 Impact Area Munitions Response Area, Munitions Response Track 3<br />

ROD<br />

The Impact Area MR Area, MR Track 3 ROD should be finalized.<br />

2.13 Del Rey Oaks Munitions Response Area, Track 2 ROD<br />

The Del Rey Oaks (DRO) MR Area, Track 2 ROD should be finalized.<br />
