7.7.2 Remedial Actions<br />

7.7.2.1 Remedy Selection<br />

The remedy for <strong>Site</strong> 33 will be a deed restriction on the property that prohibits residential use.<br />

7.7.2.2 Remedy Implementation<br />

The remedial action was to maintain restrictions on the deed to the property for other than residential<br />

uses.<br />

7.7.2.3 System Operations and Maintenance<br />

Periodic review of deed restrictions may be required, and continuing five-year reviews will be required at<br />

this site.<br />

7.7.2.4 Progress Since the last <strong>Five</strong>-<strong>Year</strong> <strong>Review</strong><br />

The property was transferred to the City of Seaside in September 2004 under FOST 6 (Parcel No. F2.7.2).<br />

A deed restriction was implemented at the time of the land transfer to restrict the land use to nonresidential.<br />

There was no change in the status of the site noted during the site visit on January 24, 2007.<br />

The site remains a golf course maintenance area. DTSC reported that the land use control for <strong>Site</strong> 33 is<br />

still in place.<br />

Is the remedy functioning as intended by the decision document?<br />

The remedy is functioning as intended by maintaining deed restrictions to protect human health and the<br />

environment.<br />
