Appendix 18. Results of power analyses showing the least number (n) of observations necessary to evaluate environmental status based on the algal variable 'number of perennial algae' in 'face value' and 'fail safe' classification scenarios with a standard power value of 80%. Results are shown for all areas which fulfilled the power requirements within combinations of 1-3 divers, 1-10 sites and 2-10 point samples per site.
