Hourly wind-velocity data recorded prior to January 1, 1932, may

NEW AIRPORT STATION
An airport station was opened at tho Municipal Airport, Pueblo, C0lo.f
on February 16, 1932. Mr. Victor V. Phillips, formerly in charge Of
the Brownsville, I'cx., Airport Station, and more recently employed @'
meteorologist by the Mexican Aviation Co., has been assigned in charqe.
Full 24-hour service and the other usual activities of airport station8 W 111
be maintained. Pilot-balloon obacrvations are not contemplated at this
time.
