3.3 Results<br />

The investigation showed that in the system studied, only few phases belonged to the<br />

binary and ternary Al subsystems. These phase were Al 2 Cu, AlLi, A1 75 CUJLÌ(TB),<br />

Al 2 CuLi(T,), Al 6 CuLi 3 (T 2 ), Al 2 LiMg, Al 2 CuMg(S). Using the results from the<br />

experiments three isothermal sections of the phase diagram were constructed:<br />

1. At 400 °C with the amount of 1.5 wt.% Cu<br />

2. At 400 °C with the amount of 2.8 wt.% Cu<br />

3. At 500 °C with the amount of 1.5 wt.% Cu<br />

4. At 500 °C with the amount of 2.8 wt.% Cu.<br />

Figure 6 shows the phase boun<strong>da</strong>ries measured at 400 °C.<br />
