Material examined: Luzon, Benguet Subprov., Klondyke, 800<br />

The genitalia of the male {''macropa") have been described already,<br />

but their photograph is pooriy reproduced (Diakonoff, 1948).<br />

Therefore a more elaborate figure is presented now.<br />

Anthophila angulosa, new species<br />

Female, 13 mm. Head whitish, vertex fuscous black. Antenna<br />

dark fuscous. Palpus rather slender; whitish, median segment with<br />

some dark fuscous subapical marks, terminal segment with apical<br />

half dark fuscous. Thorax dark fuscous, an anterior and a median<br />

white band, tegula with a broad subbasal band and top white. Abdomen<br />

light fuscous, suffused with yellow ochreous. Posterior leg<br />

(worn) light yellow, tarsus white, ends of segments ringed with yellow<br />

and fuscous.<br />

Forewing broadly sub triangular, strongly dilated, costa curved,<br />

more so at extremities, apex tolerably pointed, termen long, irregularly<br />

rounded, little obhque. Fuscous marked with white and<br />

yellow ochreous. Two white hardly inwards-obhque transverse<br />

straight streaks, beyond base and at 1/3, respectively, more or less
