(the females apparently are much more attracted by light than the<br />

males). Oriental Negros, Mt. Tahnas, 900-1200 m, 9.VII.1958<br />

(H.E. Milliron), 1 cf, genit. slide 5247 (BMH). In all respects agreeing<br />

with the original description and the male genitalia agreeing with those<br />

of the lectotype in the British <strong>Museum</strong> which is selected and will be<br />

pubhshed by Clarke.<br />

Male genitalia: Uncus with moderate, pointed lobes. Transtilla<br />

column very strong, top inverted-trapezoidal, scobinate, upper edge<br />

dentate. Anellus lobes moderate, reaching just beyond middle of<br />

column of transtilla. Valva with costa sclerotized, elongate and<br />

narrow, gently dilated toward its subtubular base. Sacculus broadly<br />

triangular, bristly, and prominent. Cucullus bifid, a short median<br />

naked process with a triangular base, and a strongly clavate dorsal<br />

bristled projection. AneUus proper and aedeagus normal.<br />

Female genitalia: Sterigma inverted W-shaped, with flattened<br />

top, along which is a transverse band of fine aciculae. Arms strongly<br />

projecting downward, each with a gradually dilated reticulate fold.<br />

Ventral edge dilated and sclerotized. Ostium spheroidal, with a<br />

subapical sclerotized ringlike ridge and a suprabasal band of strong<br />

dentations, Signum large, a smooth, concave plate.<br />
