Disinfecting agent<br />

In this case, disinfecting and preserving agents with bactericide and fungicidal effect for cooling lubricants<br />

which can be mixed with water are concerned.<br />

Bacteria, fungi, yeasts and spores are killed by dosing the disinfecting agent.<br />

Properties: With the suggested concentration to use, the behaviour is ph-neutral and it stand out for good<br />

skin compatibility.<br />

Application: 0.15 % of disinfectant is added to the existing emulsion or grinding solution.<br />

The mixing is done by slowly pouring in approx. 5 litres of emulsion. The mixture has to be added in the<br />

vicinity of the pump.<br />

Normal dosing: 0.15 % (150 ml on 100 litres of circulating emulsion).<br />

Antifoaming agent<br />

It is a mineral-oil free and silicone-free defoamer on the basis of organo-modified siloxanes.<br />

The product can be used for the defoaming all water-soluble coolants and must only be used for the afterdefoaming,<br />

a process during which its foam-suppressing effect is maintained over an extended period of<br />

time.<br />

Properties: stands out for excellent foam-reducing characteristics.<br />

Application: 0.05 % defoaming agent is added to the existing emulsion. Mixing should be done in an<br />

external tank, the concentration can be increased to 0.07 %, if required. Excessive dosing prevent the separation<br />

of air from the existing coolant.<br />

The mixture has to be added in the vicinity of the pump.<br />

Normal dosing: 0.05 % (50 ml on 100 litres of circulating emulsion)<br />
