Description:<br />

The description of the device is shown in <strong>SyCon</strong> as the name of the device.<br />

The description is changeable in this field.<br />

With the different Communication references 0, 1, 2 and 3 you are able to<br />

set different communication kinds which are independent <strong>for</strong>m each other.<br />

By selecting a communication kind the settings <strong>for</strong> this communication are<br />

loaded and the communication is done this way.<br />

In the field Connection type you can select between unused, Server and<br />

Client. Depending on the selected Connection type the under settings (IP<br />

address, Connect timeout and so on) are grey.<br />

If the Connection type unused is selected all other field are grey because<br />

no connection is selected.<br />

If Server is selected as Connection type the field Port number, Send<br />

timeout and Close timeout are adjustable.<br />

If Client is selected as Connection type all field are adjustable. In the field<br />

IP Address you have to type in the IP of the wanted Client. The field Send<br />

timeout, Connect timeout, Close timeout and Connect retry time are<br />

adjustable in multiple of 100 milliseconds.<br />
