AIS Transmit Capability<br />

Mission Need: Investigation and evaluation of the Automatic Identification System (AIS) transmit capability.<br />

• Investigate requirements of users (government and commercial) for AIS<br />

binary message transmit.<br />

• Evaluate the effectiveness of information disseminated from CG Vessel<br />

Traffic Services (VTS) and other providers.<br />
