NAIS Technical Forum and Performance Analysis Support<br />
Mission Need: A review of and modification to international standards, assistance conducting VHF Data Link (VDL)<br />
integrity monitoring and analysis, and support for sustainment of the Nationwide Automatic<br />
Identification System (NAIS) network.<br />
<strong>Project</strong> Objectives:<br />
• Advocate U.S. Government interests in standards development.<br />
• Provide project sponsor with VDL integrity monitoring and analysis critical<br />
to maintaining the integrity of NAIS.<br />
• Provide the expertise and capabilities needed to support and sustain the<br />
NAIS, and support integration of the Interim Receive (IR) and Permanent<br />
Transceive (PT) networks.<br />
