OFF-CAMPUS COURSES<br />
The <strong>college</strong> sponsors off-campus credit courses at various<br />
public school sites throughout the county. These classes are<br />
usually conducted in the evening hours from Monday through<br />
Thursday, during the regular semesters. There is an off-campus<br />
site within 20 minutes driving time of any location in <strong>Ocean</strong><br />
<strong>County</strong>.<br />
SOUTHERN EDUCATION<br />
CENTER (SEC)<br />
The Southern Education Center is a full service OCC facility<br />
located at 195 Cedar Bridge Road in Manahawkin, NJ; near<br />
the <strong>Ocean</strong> <strong>County</strong> Vocational Technical MATES Building and<br />
Southern Regional High School. A variety of services are<br />
offered at the SEC including: Enrollment Services (Applications<br />
& Registrations, Transcripts, Advising/Counseling, Cashier<br />
& Financial Aid), Tutoring, and Student Life. The SEC affords<br />
residents of Southern <strong>Ocean</strong> <strong>County</strong> the opportunity to pursue<br />
credit and non-credit courses by offering day and evening<br />
classes year-round. The SEC has a state-of-the-art computer<br />
lab, classrooms, conference rooms and a student lounge where<br />
special events are often held.<br />

LOCATION<br />
Located in the demographic center of <strong>Ocean</strong> <strong>County</strong>, in Toms<br />
River, the <strong>college</strong> is within 40 minutes commuting distance of<br />
all <strong>Ocean</strong> <strong>County</strong> citizens.<br />
The relatively close proximity of the county to the metropolitan<br />
areas of New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore and Washington,<br />
D.C. makes it possible for students to take advantage of cultural<br />
offerings in these centers.<br />
TRANSPORTATION<br />
New Jersey Transit provides bus transportation to the<br />
<strong>college</strong> campus. For specific bus routes and schedules, call<br />
