A course utilizing specific assignments from<br />

Illustrator to create a complete presentation<br />

will be responsible for the development<br />
of a project from initial client interview<br />
through roughs, comps, mechanicals<br />
and dummies. Assignments identified in<br />
previous classes will be incorporated into<br />
this class so the student will develop a sense<br />
of continuity and will become familiar with<br />
all the ramifications inherent to production<br />

This course is an introduction to Greek with<br />
emphasis on listening, vocabulary, reading<br />
and pronunciation skills. The course also<br />
explores the Greek language roots and<br />
vocabulary in specialized fields of study,<br />
including history, science, English, art,<br />
psychology, and mathematics.<br />

This course emphasizes essential skills of<br />
modern Greek: listening, reading, writing,<br />
pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary and<br />
translation. Also emphasized are the<br />
connection between Greek roots and<br />

Contemporary Health. The major difference<br />
between this course and HEHP 225 is the<br />
physical element. Students will be required<br />
to either walk, jog, or swim. In addition,<br />
the fitness room circuit weight training<br />
and other forms of aerobic exercise are<br />
included. Health lectures include wellness,<br />
fitness, cardiovascular system, nutrition,<br />
weight control, cancer, sexuality, sexually<br />
transmitted infection, including HIV/AIDs.<br />
The measurement of blood pressure and<br />
body composition are provided. Code 2<br />

An introduction to basic gymnastic skills<br />
designated to develop the students’ skills<br />

This course is for students who have no<br />
knowledge of swimming techniques.<br />
Designed to assist in overcoming the fear<br />
of water. An elective course designed to<br />
orient the student to the water and instruct<br />
in propulsion across and through the water.<br />
Instruction in elementary forms of rescue,<br />
flotation and buoyancy, body position,<br />
artificial respiration, pool orientation and<br />
safety, ocean swimming (tides, <strong>current</strong>s),<br />
lake and river swimming (polluted water,<br />
submerged objects, <strong>current</strong>s), care of eyes,<br />
ears and skin, diving and simple games.<br />
