Browser<br />

6.3 Anatomy of the Target Browser<br />

The main browser window, shown in Figure 6-1, provides an overview of the<br />

attached target, and also allows you to control other browser functionality.<br />

Data Panels<br />

The panels labeled along the left hand side of Figure 6-1 (system task list,<br />

application task list, memory-consumption graphs, and loaded modules)<br />

provide overall information about your target system. See 6.5 Data Panels,<br />

p.212 for a more detailed description.<br />

Button Bar<br />

Buttons to give you fresh snapshots of your target, to request specialized<br />

displays containing overall target information, and to adjust browser<br />

parameters. 6.4 Browser Menus and Buttons, p.210 describes each button.<br />

State indicator<br />

Using the controls in the browser’s button bar, you can change how the<br />

browser behaves. The state indicator bar summarizes the current state of<br />

toggles that affect the browser. The states listed in below may appear in the<br />

state indicator.<br />

Sash<br />

The sash allows you to allocate space between the panels of the main targetbrowser<br />

window. To reapportion the space above and below the sash, drag the<br />

small square up or down with your mouse pointer.<br />
