My area of expertise is in helping businesses scale & grow in both domestic
and international markets. With a background in IT & telecommunications I
have executive level management experience in a multi-national environment
up to director level having have held responsibility for setting up & running
a number of international services businesses with full P&L and Operations
responsibility. In the most recent of these with US Multi-national, Motorola, I
led the business to achieve a turnover of $230M with a staff in excess of 250
people covering Sales, Marketing, HR, Engineering Operations and Finance.
Since 2007 I have been running my own consultancy practice and I have
created tools & methodologies which help drive scaling/growth for a
solutions-led business in a multi-national environment but which have been
streamlined to make them applicable to Small & Medium Enterprises across
different sectors.
Over the past 4 years I have successfully worked with SMEs across
different sectors including Energy, Environmental, Education, Financial
Services, Corporate Services, Retail, Online Marketing, Software and IT/
Telecoms. It has been my experience that any business which adopts a
solutions-led approach, which becomes closer to their customer’s business
and understands their customer’s real “pain points” can succeed and then
the fundamentals of growth and scalability which apply to larger business
entities, can still apply to SMEs – it is the level of implementation that
differs. I believe in a practical as well as a theoretical approach to achieving
business growth which has led to many successful engagements
with clients.
