Relevant Experience
Noel has held Senior Sales and Marketing positions for over 25 years with 2
great Global FMCG companies S C Johnson and Mars Ireland. As Business
Manager for S C Johnson he was responsible for doubling the turnover over
a three year period with profits growing at an even more accelerated rate.
He was promoted to Business manager Middle East Markets including India,
Egypt, Israel, Turkey and Sri Lanka and played a vital role in establishing S C
Johnson in these key markets.
He joined Mars in April 1990 as Sales Director Mars Confectionery. He
played a key role in the major success of the Confectionery business in
the 90s before moving on to become Sales Director Grocery for Mars,
Confectionery, Food and Petcare business.
Noel established Salesfinesse in 2004 and is currently offering Successful
Sales Solutions to some 35 Major FMCG Companies. Since 2004 he
has been running the unique NAM Foundation Programme the most
comprehensive National Account Management Programme available to
almost 600 NAMs and Buyers in Ireland and the UK.
In summary Noel has for 8 years been assisting large and small
corporations in optimising retail engagement both in Ireland the UK,
mainland Europe and the U.S. The companies range in size from
Glanbia to medium size food & drinks manufacturers and a consumer
electronics business.
Noel’s role has been to better prepare suppliers in dealing with the trade,
helping them develop commercially astute presentation, and on many
occasions he has the suppliers. Noel has a passion around assisting small
and medium business’s optimise their sales and profitability in this area.
He has worked on many occasions with Bord Bia ,DIT and EI in assisting
their clients in getting their products to market.
