Tom Ruddy was until recently the managing director EPS group (€80m
turnover 350 employees) and now continues in a part time role as chairman
& director of the Environmental group of companies in N.I and Scotland.
Tom has over 30 years experience of managing companies in the municipal
& industrial water & wastewater markets, in design, build, operate, maintain
contracts both as main contractor or as JV-consortium board member.
International experience includes negotiating and winning projects in
Cyprus, Bahrain, Libya, Saudi, throughout the UK water boards and
industrial end users.
He was responsible for overseeing the building of the business, from a small
family run company to an €80m turnover specialist group of business units,
with over 350 employees in Ireland and the UK making it the market leader
in its sector, technically, financially and commercially.
Tom is the Principal of THOMAR Consulting and THOMAR Environmental.
These companies assist companies both strategically and financially, as
Advisor and where necessary as Investor.
Tom is a Mechanical Engineer, with a post Graduate Bachelor of Business
studies Degree in Finance, Law and Management.

Successfully managed a company through stages 1 & 11 of the Elevate
program and now assisting this company to develop a revised business plan
to include external investors in the business.
Tom uses this knowledge and experience in mentoring and dealing with
small business, industry, private clients and government bodies. Where
investment is involved it will enable maximum value and benefit to be
delivered to all stakeholders. Tom’s experience in dealing with the owners of
smaller businesses, (during acquisitions) and integrating them into the group
provided him with a lot of experience or working with small business owners.
