‘Performance Edit’ parameters<br />

Explanation<br />

This function allows you to save all “Performance<br />

Edit” settings as the new<br />

defaults that will be loaded each time<br />

you switch on the <strong>BK</strong>-<strong>7m</strong>.<br />

Reverb Send<br />

Use this parameter to set the reverb send level (i.e.<br />

the amount of effect that should be added).<br />

‘Tone Part View’ parameters<br />

This function group can be selected using [MENU] button<br />

‰ “Performance Edit” ‰ “Tone Part View”.<br />

Chorus Send<br />

Use this parameter to set the chorus send level (i.e.<br />

the amount of effect that should be added).<br />

Chorus Send 0~127<br />

1. Use the [CURSOR÷VALUE] dial to select the<br />

real-time part you want to edit (MBS, LWR,<br />

UP2, UP1).<br />

The display shows the settings for the selected realtime<br />

part.<br />

2. Use the dial to select and set the desired<br />

parameter(s).<br />

The following parameters are available:<br />

Families<br />

Allows you to select a different Tone family. See<br />

page 91 for a list of available Tones and Drum Sets.<br />

After selecting a new family, you can press the<br />

[CURSOR÷VALUE] dial and then rotate it to select a<br />

Tone from that family.<br />

Families The <strong>BK</strong>-<strong>7m</strong>’s Tones are grouped into 16<br />

families: Piano, guitar, bass, strings, etc.<br />

Tone<br />

Allows you to select a different Tone within the<br />

active Tone family. See page 91 for a list of available<br />

Tones and Drum Sets.<br />

While selecting a Tone, you can press the<br />

[CURSOR÷VALUE] dial and then rotate it to select a<br />

different family.<br />

The number of Tones depends on the<br />

selected family.<br />

Volume<br />

Adjusts the volume of the selected real-time part.<br />

Selecting “0” means that the part is question is no<br />

longer audible.<br />

Panpot<br />

Use this parameter to change the stereo placement<br />

of the selected real-time part. “L63” means “hard left”<br />

and “R63” represents “hard right”. Choose “0” if the<br />

sound should be at the center of the stereo image.<br />

EQ Part Edit<br />

1. If you also want to edit the parameters of<br />

equalizer, you have to press<br />

[CURSOR÷VALUE] dial to select the “EQ Edit<br />

Part” page.<br />

2. Use the dial to select and set the desired<br />

parameter(s).<br />

The following parameters are available:<br />

Switch Off, On This parameter allows<br />

you to switch the<br />

equalizer on and off.<br />

High Freq<br />

1500Hz, 2000Hz,<br />

3000Hz, 4000Hz,<br />

6000Hz, 8000Hz,<br />

12000Hz<br />

Allows you to set the<br />

cutoff frequency of<br />

the high band (this is<br />

a shelving filter).<br />

High Gain –15~+15dB Use this parameter to<br />

set the level of the<br />

selected “High” frequency.<br />

Positive values<br />

boost (increase<br />

the volume of) that<br />

frequency band, negative<br />

values cut<br />

(attenuate) it.<br />

Mid Freq 200~8000Hz Allows you to set the<br />

cutoff frequency of<br />

the middle band (this<br />

is a peaking filter).<br />
