a. Description<br />
These are processed fish meat products formed <strong>in</strong>to various shapes of balls, cakes or blocks. They are<br />
packaged <strong>in</strong> a range of frozen or chilled formats and are used <strong>in</strong> <strong>Asian</strong> stir frys, stews and soups (Plate<br />
6.8).<br />

Figures 6.27 and 6.28 show that the major countries of orig<strong>in</strong> for imports of processed fish products by<br />
both volume and value are Thailand, S<strong>in</strong>gapore and Korea.<br />
