STANDARDS Season Awards In 2007 awards will be presented for ‘Best NBL Team Administration’ and ‘Best NBL Team Game Presentation’. Best NBL Team Administration The criteria and weighting upon which this award will be decided will be as follows: • Timeliness: 5 points • Thoroughness: 5 points • Fee payment (including season items such as travel bills): 10 points Pre-Season Obligations • Submission of player/coach prowls as requested: 5 points • Oceania licences: 10 points • Statutory declarations: 10 points • Team and team contact information: 5 points • Roster information: 5 points Game night task fulfillment • Filing game results to designated recipients: 10 points • Filing stats to designated recipients: 10 points • Filing of official scoresheet, game report and ACC injury sheets: 10 points Communication • Proactiveness with media: 10 points • Efficiency, co-operation with NBL office and NBL teams: 5 points Total 100 points Best NBL Team Presentation The criteria and weighting upon which this award will be decided will be as follows: • Appearance • Scorebench/statistician image: 5 points (uniformed or not) • Competency and image of floor technicians: 5 points (efficiency of wiping up sweat/spills, uniformed or not) • Equipment fully functional: 10 points (shot clocks, foul markers, buzzers, scoreboard) • Performance of DJ/MC/announcer: 10 points (atmosphere generation, non-biased, appropriate material and sound levels) Sponsors (this applies to NZBL and visiting team sponsors) • Correct positioning and allocation of sponsor signage: 15 points (as specified in this manual) • Acknowledgement of sponsors: 15 points (as specified in this manual) • Uniforms (sponsor logos and positioning): 15 points (as specified in this manual) Board Operations and Procedures 17
