18.4.10 DVD/CD-ROM recording of an unacceptable standard — a find of $250.<br />

18.4.11 Hospitality not provided or not in close proximity to stadium — a fine of $100,<br />

unless approved by the League Manager.<br />

18.4.12 No introduction, warm-up music or commentary — a fine of $100 for each infringement.<br />

18.4.13 Failure to provide information to other team (player lists, contacts, timesheet,<br />

etc.) a fine of $100.<br />

18.4.14 Consistent and/or wilful breaches of the rules and operations guidelines — a<br />

fine of up to $1,000 as determined by the NBLL Board.Late Payment Fines<br />

18.5 In respect of late payment of a fine, a further late payment penalty of 50% of the fine<br />

value shall be imposed after 30 days and for each further 30 days thereafter.<br />

19 Doping Policy<br />

19.1 Players must abide by the Anti-Doping Policy of <strong>Basketball</strong> <strong>New</strong> <strong>Zealand</strong> and will be<br />

subject to the provisions of this policy.<br />

20 Code of Conduct<br />

20.1 Players, coaches and other officials must abide by the Code of Conduct Policy of <strong>Basketball</strong><br />

<strong>New</strong> <strong>Zealand</strong> and will be subject to the provisions of this policy.<br />

21 Awards<br />

21.1 The competition plays for the National <strong>Basketball</strong> League trophy, which will be awarded<br />

to the Grand Final game/series winner.<br />

21.2 A trophy will be awarded to the Most Valuable Player of the season based on votes cast<br />

by the head coaches during the regular season.<br />

21.3 A trophy will be awarded to the Coach of the Year based on votes cast by the head coaches.<br />

21.4 Individual statistical awards will be made to the top-ranked players in these categories:<br />

• Assists<br />

• Leading scorer<br />

• Leading rebounder<br />

21.5 Team statistical awards will be made to the top-ranked teams in free throw<br />

shooting.<br />

21.6 An All-Star Five will be awarded by votes cast by head coaches during the regular season<br />

for players in these categories:<br />

1. Point Guard 2. Shooting Guard 3. Small Forward 4. Power Forward 5. Centre<br />

21.7 A trophy will be awarded to the Most Valuable Player of the Finals.<br />

21.8 Games played recognition awards will be made to players and to teams to recognise<br />

every 100 games of participation in the National <strong>Basketball</strong> League.<br />

21.9 Games Officiated awards will be made to referees and umpires to recognise every 100<br />

games of participation in the National <strong>Basketball</strong> League.<br />

21.10 Administrator of the Year award will be presented to the highest ranked team administrator.<br />

21.11 Best All-Round Media Coverage.<br />

21.12 Referee of the Year is awarded by the NBL Manager and Appointments Officer.<br />
