4.4.9 Host name A Host Name is the unique name by which a network-attached. The hostname is used to identify a particular host in various forms of electronic communication. Some of the ISP requires the Host Name as identification. You may check with ISP to see if your Internet service has been configured with a host name. In most cases, this field can be ignored.
