pleaded guilty to federal charges involving use <strong>of</strong> two 14-year-old girls as prostitutes at<br />

motels in East Hartford and Hartford over a four-day period in July 2009<br />

• November 10, 2010 – Bloomfield<br />

— Reported on November 10, 2010, by Edmund H. Mahony <strong>of</strong> CTnow.com.<br />

— A Bloomfield prostitution investigation has led to the federal indictment <strong>of</strong> a New York City<br />

man on charges that he transported a minor between states for sexual purposes<br />

— A federal grand jury named Bruce Damico, 32, who had residences in Hartford, New York<br />

and Providence, in a five-count indictment charging that he transported a minor and two<br />

adults between states and posted a sexually explicit photograph <strong>of</strong> the minor on the Internet<br />

as an advertisement for a prostitution business.<br />

— Damico is charged with one count <strong>of</strong> sex trafficking <strong>of</strong> children, one count <strong>of</strong> interstate<br />

transportation <strong>of</strong> a minor for prostitution, one count <strong>of</strong> transportation <strong>of</strong> child pornography,<br />

and two counts <strong>of</strong> interstate transportation <strong>of</strong> a person for prostitution. If convicted, Damico<br />

faces up to life in prison.<br />

— Reported June 10, 2010, by Chris Ayotte <strong>of</strong> NBC Connecticut.<br />

— A 15-year-old runaway claimed two men forced her to be prostituted through ads placed on<br />

Craigslist.<br />

— Matthew Lallis was arrested and charged with Second-Degree <strong>Sex</strong>ual Assault, Risk <strong>of</strong> Injury<br />

or Impairing the Morals <strong>of</strong> a Minor and Promoting Prostitution.<br />

Florida<br />

• July 18, 2011- Orlando<br />

— Reported on July 20, 2011, by WKMG Local 6<br />

— The Orange County Sheriff's Office has, along with the U.S. Marshals and the Orlando Police<br />

Department, arrested 10 people in connection with a sex trafficking case involving a minor.<br />

— According to the Sheriff's Office, it was notified by another county that a runaway claimed she<br />

and another girl were abused in Orange County. The other girl was located due to an arrest<br />

on prostitution charges in south Florida.<br />

— Based on the information provided by the girls, deputies arrested 10 people: Craig Golden,<br />

Martha Wilson, Lachristopher Smith, Leo David, Rodney David, Guytembert Garcin, Olgens<br />

Alcide, John Peter Henry, Shayne Parsons and Boby Louis.<br />

— The 10 suspects were charged with sex trafficking, procuring a minor for prostitution, deriving<br />

proceeds from prostitution, lewd and lascivious behavior with a minor and interference with<br />

child custody.<br />

• July 16, 2011- Polk County<br />

— Reported on July 16, 2011, by Sonja Sharp <strong>of</strong> Huffington Post<br />

— A Florida cop and a school bus monitor were arrested Thursday in connection with a child<br />

prostitution ring, Polk County Sheriff's Office said in a statement.<br />

— Police arrested 27-year-old school bus attendant Paul Rosoan Aaron for allegedly forcing two<br />

young teens into prostitution, at least one <strong>of</strong> whom he solicited while on the job<br />

— A second affidavit identifies 25-year-old Haines City police <strong>of</strong>ficer Demetrius Lamar Condry<br />

as one <strong>of</strong> Aaron's clients. He, too, is now facing charges<br />

• May 25, 2011- Oakland Park*<br />

— Reported on May 26, 2011, by Linda Trischitta <strong>of</strong> Sun Sentinel<br />

— A third person was named in the federal child sex trafficking investigation <strong>of</strong> a bordello in<br />

Oakland Park known as the Boom Boom Room.<br />

— Willie David Rice, 45, acted as the doorman <strong>of</strong> the bordello was arrested May 14 and<br />

charged with carrying a concealed firearm<br />
