— Shacon Barbee made thousands <strong>of</strong> dollars running an "organized criminal enterprise" in<br />
which he beat and intimidated girls and young women into working as prostitutes, according<br />
to criminal charges filed Friday by King County prosecutors.<br />
— Barbee, 32, was charged Friday with leading organized crime, three counts <strong>of</strong> promoting<br />
commercial sexual abuse <strong>of</strong> a minor, two counts <strong>of</strong> promoting prostitution and tampering with<br />
a witness<br />
— In the latest charges, he is accused <strong>of</strong> forcing three young women into working as prostitutes<br />
and then pocketing all <strong>of</strong> the money they earned. On most days, each woman earned more<br />
than $1,000 working as a prostitute, prosecutors say.<br />

she pimped a girl two years her junior.<br />
— King County prosecutors contend Micayla Michelle Fourhorns – herself convicted <strong>of</strong><br />
prostitution as a minor – helped the 17-year-old post advertisements on Backpage.com and<br />
set up “dates” for the girl.<br />
— Fourhorns faces seven to 10 years in prison if convicted as charged.<br />
— Fourhorns, who was convicted <strong>of</strong> prostitution in 2009, has been charged with promoting the<br />
commercial sexual abuse <strong>of</strong> a minor. She remains jailed on $100,000 bail.<br />

— Chad Andrew Crithfield pleaded innocent Wednesday to allegations that he paid money to<br />
have sex with two underage girls after answering an ad on Backpage.com.<br />
— Previously reported on May 24, 2011, by The News Tribune: A 19-year-old woman is<br />
accused <strong>of</strong> forcing underage girls into prostitution and pr<strong>of</strong>iting from her online<br />
Backpage.com scheme, which has landed her, her husband and four alleged customers in<br />
court. All six people have been charged in Benton County Superior Court: Salsbury, <strong>of</strong><br />
Kennewick, with promoting commercial sexual abuse <strong>of</strong> a minor, a felony; Stanley Lynn<br />
Salsbury Jr., 20, <strong>of</strong> Kennewick, with second-degree promoting prostitution, a felony; Chad<br />
Andrew Crithfield, 40, <strong>of</strong> Richland, on three counts <strong>of</strong> fourth-degree assault with sexual<br />
motivation, a gross misdemeanor; Francisco Meza III, 31, <strong>of</strong> Sunnyside, with commercial sex<br />
abuse <strong>of</strong> a minor, a felony; Mason Cameron Harris, 24, <strong>of</strong> Kennewick with prostitution, a<br />
misdemeanor, and third-degree theft, a gross misdemeanor; Armand Robert Vasquez, 67, <strong>of</strong><br />
Phoenix, Ariz., with commercial sex abuse <strong>of</strong> a minor, a felony.<br />
• April 28, 2011- Seattle*<br />

— A Shoreline man convicted <strong>of</strong> pimping a 17 year old teen girl out <strong>of</strong> a downtown Seattle hotel<br />
has been sentenced to 20 years in prison.<br />
— Anthony Terry, 31, was among the first defendants to be sentenced under stiffer penalties for<br />
pimping children recently enacted by the state Legislature.<br />
— Terry was found guilty <strong>of</strong> two counts <strong>of</strong> promoting the sexual abuse <strong>of</strong> a child, as well as<br />
promoting prostitution and witness tampering. He was sentenced Thursday to the shortest<br />
sentence within the standard sentencing range; prosecutors had asked that he receive a 26-<br />
year prison term.<br />
