VARIOFACE wiring interface<br />

VARIOFACE modules for pluggable<br />

miniature relays <strong>and</strong>/or<br />

miniature solid-state relays<br />

The 4, 8, <strong>and</strong> 16-way relay <strong>and</strong> solid-state<br />

relay interfaces UMK-... RM provide four,<br />

eight or 16 slots for commercially available<br />

electromechanical relays (REL-MR...) or<br />

optoelectronic relays.(SIM-EI...). The<br />

connections between the I/O module <strong>and</strong><br />

the electronics, as well as the process<br />

cabling, are implemented via screw<br />

connection terminal blocks.<br />

Notes:<br />

For the protection of relay coils <strong>and</strong> contacts, inductive loads must<br />

be dampened with an efficient protection circuit.<br />

Other input voltages on request.<br />

1) not with 230 V AC.<br />

2) with 230 V AC glow lamp.<br />

3) with 100 V DC <strong>and</strong> 230 V AC glow lamp.<br />
