VARIOFACE wiring interface<br />
Miniature solid-state relay SIM-EI<br />
The SIM-EI miniature solid-state relays<br />
have connections compatible with<br />
commercially available miniature switching<br />
relays <strong>and</strong> are of the same shape.<br />
The modules are used for floating<br />
conditioning of process signals as an<br />
alternative to electromechanical relays.<br />
Substituting mechanical relays for solidstate<br />
ones opens new possibilities for<br />
solving interface problems in a user-friendly<br />
way. The compatibility of the pins with the<br />
mechanical relay permits use of solid-state<br />
relays without any changes in the layout.<br />
The output of the solid-state relay is "high<br />
active" <strong>and</strong> designed as a 2 or 3-conductor<br />
output.<br />
