In his letter to the church at Ephesus Paul points to her high responsibility, her special place in the plan of God. She has been called to victorious life in her risen Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, victorious life in the spiritual warfare against invisible and perilous powers of Satan, continuously opposing her on her way to perfection.

with God's approval and cooperation. He supports us in our binding<br />

and loosing. Whatever we do in the interests of the Kingdom will be<br />

regarded as though He had done it If we bind the powers, pinion<br />

them until they are powerless, arrest them, as it were, take them<br />

prisoner, place our foot upon them as conquerors do, the Lord will<br />

then regard them as defeated, eliminated. That is Divine cooperation.<br />

We bind the powers; we stop them from doing anything else,<br />

and from corruption; we eradicate them. That is God-given. And we<br />

loose. We release Divine powers: the power of healing, the power of<br />

liberation. After we have bound the evil powers during meetings or<br />

an individual ministration, we then release the healing powers of<br />

Jesus Christ, His salvation, over the multitude or the one person. We<br />

bring healing to the bound and damaged life, we round off our<br />

ministration. We break down and build up, we take prisoner and set<br />

free, we curse and bless, we bind and loose. For we have been given<br />

power over all unclean spirits. ' And when He had called unto Him<br />

His twelve disciples, He gave them power against unclean spirits, to<br />

cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of<br />

disease' (Matt 10 : 1).<br />

Binding and loosing testifies to superiority. We act as superiors,<br />

and we now reverse the roles and command the binding powers of<br />

darkness which held other bound. In Christ we are always more than<br />

conquerors!<br />
