ARMOUR OF GOD

Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions on
angels?' (Matt 26 : 53). The servant only saw the outward appearance,
he only know of sensorial sight, he only saw difficult and
dangerous circumstances. But he must learn how to see in a spiritual
way, from the standpoint of the Word, the promise, from God's
view, through the Holy Spirit' And Elisha prayed, and said, Lord, I
pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see' (2 Kings 6 : 17).
This booklet was written with a view to this prayer of El is ha. It
is written out of this desire: 'Lord, open their eyes, that they may see!
Lord, give everyone eyesalve, that they may see' (Rev. 3 : 18). Only
the Holy Spirit can cause our eyes to see, can heal us of blindness as
far as the Word is concerned. 'And the Lord heard Elisha's prayer,
as He hears every faithful prayer. And the Lord opened the eyes of
the young man, and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of
horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha' (2 Kings 6 : 17). A
huge army, our heavenly allies are with us in the same battle against
the same enemy. And these hosts stood 'round about Elisha'; that is,
round about the Word of God, round about prophecy, round about
the certainty of ' thus says the Lord of hosts', round about the Kingdom
of Jesus Christ They are there, in readiness, encamped round
about us and they lead us to victory.
