Valve Covers<br />
People can’t see the beautiful porting artistry inside your GM<br />
Performance Parts aluminum cylinder heads, but they can, and<br />
do, see the valve covers. To make sure your GM engine looks as<br />
great as <strong>it</strong> runs, GM Performance Parts offers a wide selection<br />
of precision-engineered, branded valve covers. The valve covers<br />
are e<strong>it</strong>her aluminum or stamped steel. They’re designed to seal<br />
tightly and minimize the chance of oil leakage. Taller <strong>com</strong>pet<strong>it</strong>ion<br />
valve covers are made to easily clear high performance valvetrain<br />
<strong>com</strong>ponents. All valve covers are sold in pairs.<br />
NOTE: Valve covers are sold in pairs unless otherwise specified.<br />
Valve covers cannot be used w<strong>it</strong>h 15° or 18° heads unless otherwise<br />

By ’69 the Camaro was on a roll, and the factory kept<br />
the exc<strong>it</strong>ement pumping w<strong>it</strong>h aggressive new styling<br />
that cemented <strong>it</strong>s legacy as the quintessential Camaro<br />
look—a look that unquestionably influenced the new,<br />
2010 Camaro. The long-standing Rally Sport option<br />
came w<strong>it</strong>h an aggressive grille, squared body panels<br />
and multi-section taillights found on all ’69 models,<br />
but stood out w<strong>it</strong>h <strong>it</strong>s flat-black grille package and<br />
slotted, see-through headlight covers that could be<br />
opened by more durable vacuum actuation. (The covers<br />
were see-through just in case they wouldn’t open.)<br />
As <strong>it</strong> was from <strong>it</strong>s inception, the Rally Sport appearance<br />
package was open to just about anything, as <strong>it</strong><br />
could be <strong>com</strong>bined w<strong>it</strong>h more performance-oriented<br />
packages like the Z/28 or Super Sport, so <strong>it</strong> wasn’t un<strong>com</strong>mon<br />
for RS/SS Camaros to prowl the streets w<strong>it</strong>h<br />
the best of both worlds. Similarly, the 2010 Camaro<br />
offers an RS package w<strong>it</strong>h unique grille and headlamp<br />
treatment—but instead of hidden lamps, they’re hightech,<br />
high-intens<strong>it</strong>y discharge lamps.<br />
