Condition of the exterior and interior of the building noting graffiti, peeling paint, unpleasant<br />
odors, or other signs of deterioration<br />

Facility in good condition, landscaping in park‐like condition, no peeling paint. Graffiti<br />
was nominal, but viewed in one of the blocks; scratched into the wall<br />

Condition of the grounds, exercise areas, playing fields, and exercise equipment<br />

Well maintained; basketball hoops, weights, pull‐up bars, and hand ball courts.<br />

General cleanliness of the facility including windows, lighting, lockers, desks, conditions of the<br />
mattresses, bedding and pillows<br />

Clean and in good order.<br />

Condition of sleeping room door panels<br />

This was the location of viewed graffiti in block unit, otherwise good condition.<br />

Temperature of living units<br />

Maintained by central thermostat unit.<br />

Safety and security issues including fencing, outdoor lighting, location of the weapons locker<br />

Security strategically located to control situations, weapons locker within each area<br />
includes rubber bullets, bean bags, and mace. No weapons; Tasers only.<br />
