Modeling<br />

A numerical model was created for both tool geometries using Ansys Fluent<br />

software. Fluent is an Eulerian, finite volume, computational fluid dynamics (CFD)<br />

program. The mesh geometries for each tool were created in the preprocessing program,<br />

Ansys Gambit. The narrow probe geometry contained 221,887 tetrahedral cells and<br />

465,690 triangular faces, and the wide probe geometry contained 224,689 cells and<br />
