心 投 入 使 用 兩 具 全 新 太 陽 能 模 組 特 殊 試 驗
測 試 設 備 , 這 兩 具 世 界 上 獨 一 無 二 的 測 試
箱 , 每 個 最 多 可 以 同 時 置 入 12 片 太 陽 能 模
組 ( 最 大 面 積 為 2*1 公 尺 ), 以 進 行 嚴 酷 的
耐 氨 與 鹽 霧 測 試 。

Jörg Althaus 表 示 :「 隨 著 太 陽 能 產 業 日
益 擴 大 與 技 術 的 不 斷 提 升 , 製 造 商 、 買 家
與 投 資 人 所 面 臨 的 一 些 特 殊 問 題 也 日 益 顯
得 重 要 , 例 如 被 高 度 暴 露 在 沿 海 地 區 鹽 霧
環 境 , 以 及 將 太 陽 能 模 組 安 裝 在 農 場 屋 頂
上 的 高 氨 環 境 。 我 們 的 目 標 是 進 一 步 提 高
模 組 的 品 質 與 產 品 可 靠 性 。」 如 果 模 組 暴

TÜV Rheinland has placed two new test chambers into
operation at the solar test centre in Cologne for special stress
testing of solar modules. In each of the test chambers, the
only ones of their kind in the world, up to twelve photovoltaic
modules (maximum size 2 x 1 metres) are tested for their
corrosion resistance to high concentrations of ammonia or
salty air.
With the continuous expansion and the technological
advancement of photovoltaics worldwide, special issues
take on additional importance for manufacturers as well
as for buyers and investors. This includes extreme exposure
to salty air in coastal regions, for example, as well as exposure
to ammonia when solar modules are installed on the roofs
of agricultural operations. The goal is a further increase in the
quality and reliability of the modules,” comments Jörg Althaus,
head of the Photovoltaic Modules Qualification division at TÜV
Rheinland. This exposure becomes a problem if condensation
forms as a result of high levels of humidity. It is exactly this
case that is simulated in the climate chambers. Manufacturers
can offer their customers additional security in this case by
means of the special voluntary tests offered by TÜV Rheinland.
