PRESENTERS Candace Moberly Candace Moberly, age 20, is a 2009 graduate of Madison Southern High School and a current Eastern Kentucky University student majoring in communication disorders. She has been active in the Madison County Youth in Action organization for 5 years and serves as youth leader to the group. In 2008, Ms. Moberly was appointed to the Kentucky Juvenile Justice Advisory Board by Governor Steve Beshear. Amy Mogelberg Officer Amy Mogelberg, a School Resource Officer in the Chicago Police Department, is assigned to the historic Back of the Yards section of Chicago. The community has more underage (younger than 18) residents than adults. Neighborhood gangs and 24-hour alcohol outlets pose challenges in controlling underage access to alcohol. She is active in community organizations and neighboring communities to bring attention and resources to this issue. She is a member of the 2010 Class of Leadership Institute. Scott Montegna Scott Montegna is the Policy and Research Analyst for Texans Standing Tall. He has worked with several nonprofit organizations, focusing on issues in community development, youth education, public health, and program and project management. Mr. Montegna has a master’s degree in policy advocacy and analysis from SIT Graduate Institute and a graduate certificate in geographic information systems from Portland State University. Aidan Moore Aidan J. Moore is PIRE’s Program Manager for the Judicial-Probation Outreach Project and is a UDETC team member. For 25 years, he was the Chief of Enforcement, New Hampshire State Liquor Commission, and served on several special commissions on UAD traffic safety. He is a member of several police associations and Past President of the NLLEA. He holds a Juris Doctorate from New England Law. He is admitted to the bar in New Hampshire and Maine. Mitchell Moore Mitchell Moore LCDC, ACPS, CCJAP, ADC III, is an accomplished servant in prevention, education, intervention, recovery, and leadership training. He has a passion for training and helping others develop skills that empower them to lead better and more fulfilling lives. Mr. Moore is the Executive Director of the Palmer Drug Abuse Program in Midland, Texas. Brandon Neudecker Investigator Brandon Neudecker has 9 years of law enforcement experience in New Hampshire. He came to the New Hampshire Division of Liquor Enforcement in 2007 after serving 5 years as a patrolman for the Concord Police Department. He was awarded the 2009 NLLEA National Liquor Enforcement Agent of the Year for his extensive work in fraudulent identification investigations. PRESENTERS Caroline Newkirk Caroline Newkirk joined DREAM, Inc. in 2008 as Mississippi’s Statewide Underage Drinking Prevention Coordinator. She is a resource to the Strategic Prevention Framework Statewide Incentive Grant subgrantees in the development and implementation of programs targeting UAD. She also conducts training workshops on the prevention of UAD. She is a co-chair of Mississippians Advocating Against Underage Drinking. Her master’s degree is from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She is a member of the 2010 NLC Leadership Institute Class. Michelle Nienhius Michelle Nienhius is a prevention consultant for the South Carolina Department of Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Services. She plans and implements statewide changes in prevention and oversees quality assurance of prevention deliverables from 33 county agencies in the State. She trains prevention professionals on the concepts and strategies generated by the Governor’s Council. She is the State representative to the National Prevention Network, the coordinator for the State’s EUDL grant, and the Project Director of the State Epidemiology Outcomes. Karolyn Nunnallee Karolyn Nunnallee has presented on personal achievement and overcoming tragedy throughout the United States, Puerto Rico, and Australia for 35 years. She served as National President of Mothers Against Drunk Driving and has received its Golden Achievement Award. She is a consultant for UDETC in Policy and Media Training and coordinates Victim Impact Panels for IDEA on the hazards of texting, phoning, alcohol and drug use while driving. Her B.S. is from Birmingham Southern College, and her M.S. is from Florida State University. Julie Nussbaum Julie Nussbaum joined SADD in October 2003. As the SADD National Director of Prevention, Ms. Nussbaum is responsible for incorporating prevention strategies into all SADD programming through environmental strategies and youth development approaches. As the Massachusetts State Coordinator, she oversees the Massachusetts SADD program and serves as an agent to deliver youth safety programming targeting underage drinking, other drug use, impaired driving, traffic safety, and healthy decisionmaking to youth across the Commonwealth. Jared Olson Jared Olson is a national consultant and trainer specializing in impaired driving, vehicular homicide, and underage drinking. His instruction includes using social media to investigate and prosecute underage drinking crimes. His background includes investigating early Internet crimes as a detective for the Weber State University Police Department. His master’s degree is in criminal justice from the University of Cincinnati, and his Juris Doctorate is from the University of Idaho. Keith Otto Lieutenant Keith Ott works for Goose Creek Police Department and in cooperation with the Kennedy Behavioral Health Services. Part of his duties are to coordinate law enforcement operations with the 9th Circuit AET. He handles supervisory duties with the Investigative Division at Goose Creek Police Department.
