Jeff Brinkley<br />
Jeff Brinkley has been a police officer for 16 years, 15 years of which has been with the Ames Police Department.<br />
He is currently a shift commander. Officer Brinkley has a BLS degree from Iowa State University, and he is<br />
in the process of finishing his master’s degree in public administration. Mr. Brinkley’s experience includes work<br />
in patrol, criminal investigations, tactical operations, drug and alcohol enforcement, emergency vehicle operations,<br />
and basic GIS functions.<br />
Corrie Brown<br />
Corrie Brown is the Prevention Programs Manager for AdCare Educational. She has been with AdCare since<br />
June of 2008, managing the Youth Empowerment and Policy Project, Student Intervention and Reintegration<br />
Program, and the Maine Inhalant Work Group. Ms. Brown received her LMSW in 2008 after obtaining her graduate<br />
degree from Boston College Graduate School of Social Work.<br />
Carol Burkett<br />
Carol Burkett is the Director of the Orange County Drug Free Coalition, working with a diverse board chaired by<br />
the Orange County Mayor and nine working committees providing expertise in prevention, enforcement, and<br />
treatment. Ms. Burkett has more than 17 years of experience working in State and local government and has<br />
presented at national and statewide prevention conferences regarding collaborative approaches to address<br />
underage drinking. She also serves on several local and State boards.<br />
Gwynn Busby<br />
Gwynn Busby has worked in prevention and treatment for 15 years. She worked for the Managed Care Center<br />
for Addictive and Other Disorders, Inc. in Texas. Over 4 years ago, she moved to Oklahoma and took the position<br />
of Director for Wichita Mountains Prevention Network. She taught Aerodynamics at Texas Tech University as a<br />
weekend, Spring Break, and summer academic program for 21 years.<br />
Sharie Cantelon<br />
Sharon Cantelon is a Juvenile Justice Program Specialist, Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention,<br />
Office of Justice Programs, U.S. Department of Justice. She coordinates efforts with other Federal agencies and<br />
monitors grants to State agencies and nonprofit organizations that support youth-related programs. Since 1998,<br />
she has been a key player in OJJDP’s EUDL Program, monitoring discretionary grants to about 30 States. She<br />
also monitors OJJDP’s national EUDL training and technical assistance cooperative agreement to PIRE.<br />
Mindy Carroll<br />
Mindy Carroll, after teaching in public education, became the education specialist at Texas Alcoholic Beverage<br />
Commission in 2006. Two years later, she was promoted to Director of the Education Division, which includes<br />
grants for the agency. The division is responsible for managing the States EUDL (<strong>Enforcement</strong> of <strong>Underage</strong><br />
