John Underwood<br />
John Underwood is Director/ Founder of the American Athletic Institute and is a Human Performance Consultant<br />
for the U.S. Navy SEALS. He has coached or advised more than two dozen Olympians including World and Olympic<br />
Champions. He holds three International Olympic Solidarity diplomas for coaching and crusades for drug-free<br />
sports. His innovative program, “Life of an Athlete,” has gained international prominence. He has been a guest<br />
commentator for ABC Wide World of Sports for Olympic Drug Scandals.<br />
Judi Vining<br />
Judi Vining is the Coordinator of the Long Beach Medical Center’s Coalition to Prevent UAD, and the Community<br />
Coordinator for the Prevention First! NY SPF-SIG subgrant awarded to Long Beach Medical Center in 2011. She<br />
graduated magna cum laude from Adelphi University and is a CASAC-(g). She is a member of UDETC’s Class of<br />
2010 Leadership Institute, is co-chair of the New York State Environmental Task Force, and is active in several<br />
other local groups.<br />
Kimberly Wagoner<br />
Dr. Kimberly Wagoner is a Senior Research Associate in the Department of Social Sciences and Health Policy<br />
at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. Her focus is on using community-based participatory research<br />
principles to design practice-informed interventions to prevent substance abuse among adolescents and young<br />
adults. Dr. Wagoner has extensive experience working with community coalitions and evaluating their efforts to<br />
address substance abuse in their respective communities.<br />
Jaci Walrath<br />
Jaci Walrath is the Project Director for the Sherman County Prevention Coalition. Ms. Walrath has spent many<br />
years inspiring youth to live up to their greatest potential. Through community networking and youth empowerment,<br />
she is striving to change political views and community norms.<br />
Lisa Walter<br />
Lisa Walter is the Chief of Police at the University of Wisconsin-Stout. She has worked in a university setting<br />
for 19 years and has been a certified police officer for 25 years. Chief Walter was instrumental in creating the<br />
multiagency Dunn County Alcohol Task Force to increase enforcement options within the community. She is a<br />
member of various campus and community youth and alcohol coalitions.<br />
David Watts<br />
Appointed in 2001, W. David Watts is the fifth president of the University of Texas of the Permian Basin in<br />
Odessa, TX. UT Permian Basin is a 4,000 student university with a combination of resident and commuter<br />
students, located in the West Texas ranch lands and oil fields. Previously serving as a vice president, dean and<br />
department chair at other universities, Dr. Watts is a sociologist specializing in drug and alcohol abuse preven-<br />
