PRESENTERS<br />
Ron Bogle<br />
Ronald E. Bogle, a retired Superior Court Judge and a Vietnam War veteran, began his career as a Federal Prosecutor<br />
for the U.S. Department of Justice. He currently serves on PIRE’s Judicial Project Advisory Board and is the<br />
President of Community Strategies Group, LLC, working nationwide with community initiatives, law enforcement,<br />
and the courts on UAD prevention. He is a nationally known speaker and writer on UAD prevention. He received the<br />
Douglas Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Judiciary.<br />
S. Scott Boyd<br />
S. Scott Boyd was elected to the Orlando County’s Board of County Commissioners (District 1) in 2008 and was<br />
appointed Vice Mayor in 2011. As Commissioner, he represents District 1, which includes the cities of Winter<br />
Garden and Ocoee along with the towns of Oakland and Windermere. Commissioner Boyd, born in Orlando, is a<br />
life-time resident of West Orange. He is a graduate of West Orange High School and Florida State University. His<br />
public service includes membership on the Orange County Community Action Board, Citizens’ Commission for<br />
Children. He also serves on the West Orange Chamber of Commerce Board and the Law <strong>Enforcement</strong> Division of<br />
Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.<br />
Stephanie Boyd<br />
Stephanie Boyd currently serves as the Coordinator of Alcohol and Drug Education Programs at Furman University.<br />
Her primary responsibilities focus on implementing environmental strategies that reduce underage drinking and<br />
high risk consumption of alcohol by all students. She has been in the alcohol and drug field for over 20 years. She<br />
earned her B.S. in Recreation Therapy and a Master’s in Counseling from Clemson University.<br />
Sherry Bray<br />
Sherry Bray, the Media Coordinator for Kentucky State Police (KSP) in Frankfort, Kentucky, liaises with all KSP<br />
posts in the State. She is the State Coordinator for the EUDL program, and has been responsible for more than<br />
$6 million in grant funding for KSP. In 2008, she received KSP’s “Certificate of Excellence.” She is a member of<br />
Kentucky’s UAD Task Force Team and Kentucky Association of Government Communicators. Her B.S. is from the<br />
Ohio State University.<br />
Tony Brenes<br />
Tony Brenes represents the SAPHE youth advocate to prevent underage drinking. He presented at the North Carolina<br />
Legislature’s Women’s Caucus and engaged this group to sponsor legislation to increase beer excise tax. He<br />
also advocated for nonprivatization of the ABC system; served as catalyst for implementing Talk It Up! Lock It Up!<br />
events at high schools; participated in DUI Check Stations; recognized retail outlets that ID responsibly; and serve<br />
as role model advocates to prevent underage drinking.<br />
Kim Briamonte<br />
Kim Briamonte, J.D., manages the Department of Public Policy for Pima Prevention Partnership, Inc. She provides<br />
policy analysis and development, training, and technical assistance to the American Samoa Government for<br />
OJJDP’s EUDL grant program. She recently managed Arizona’s Military Discretionary EUDL program to reduce<br />
