I took my English 101 exam today and had to do an in-class essay. We had to pick
from three topics and one of them was all about altering babies’ genetics before they are
born – if you think it is right or wrong. I remembered we talked about this in Mrs.
MacIver’s class “...it’s that movie Gattica…” so I went crazy with it and was recalling
information from the Bible. I was saying, “Yea! for SSA’s religion department!” You
don’t learn to appreciate your classes in high school until you’re expected to know it in
college. - Kat Foudriat ‘08
