Molly Molloy Gambel received the
Marguerite S. Celestin Scholarship
for her strong academics,
involvement in school activities, and
generosity of spirit, friendliness, and
love of SSA. In 2005, in recognition
of her 25 years of service as
principal of St. Scholastica Academy,
the Parent Club honored
Marguerite Celestin by creating an
endowed scholarship in her name
to be given to a junior. Celestin now
serves as President of SSA.

presented to a student who
exemplifies the Benedictine
tradition of prayer, work, study
and community. The seniors
were invited to nominate a
student from the 8th through
11th grades whom they feel
best exemplified the Benedictine tradition. The award honors
the student with a $500 tuition credit for the school year. The
donors of this award remain anonymous.
