Students, Faculty and Alumni twirl together
at Dandiya night
The student committees at
SPJIMR joined hands to create a
unique forum for the students
and faculty members to interact
with alumni. The excitement was
palpable as the students dressed
in their finery met the alumni at
the Dandiya celebration held on
the campus grounds.
The night was resplendent with
fairy lights draped delicately
over the trees and the youthful
exuberance of those who
danced beneath them. The
Dandiya itself was a visionstudents
and alumni twirled to traditional Gujarati
music with their dandiyas clicking in a steady rhythm. A
short workshop held by Prof. Aditi helped even those
with two left feet, who were able to be more than mere
bystanders. Al-Mart, the merchandise store for SPJIMR
t-shirts, mugs etc. was set up at the venue.
The event was organised jointly by the Alumni
Committee and Cultural Committee, 2012.
SPJain Premier League 2.0: A Sports
Committee 2011-2012 event
November 18, 2012
Sports Committee 2012 in coordination with their
counterparts from PGP-2 batch organised the biggest
sporting extravaganza in SPJIMR, SPL 2.0.
SPL coordination team was elected through selection
process. Sahil Gambhir was elected as Commissioner
for SPL 2.0. Teams participating from PGP1:

Dean's session on Spirituality for alumni
As a part of Continuing Management Education, a
session on 'Science of Spirituality' was hosted by the
Dean, Dr. M .L. Shrikant within the SPJIMR campus.
This session was attended by 20 alumni on the 9th and
16th of December, 2012
