a) When the control paddle is hanging in the normal position,<br />

the resistance at the red K4 connector will be 7.9 K<br />

ohms and the unit will start.<br />

Mechanical control in the normal position supplies 7.9 K<br />

ohms at red K4 connector to start unit.<br />

b) When the unit is held to the right, the resistance at the<br />

K4 red connector will be 15.8 K ohms and the unit will shut<br />

down within 3 seconds during the first 5 minutes of the<br />

freeze cycle or at the beginning of the next freeze cycle at<br />

any other time in the sequence of operation.<br />

Mechanical bin control in the full right position supplies<br />

15.8 K ohms at connector red K4 to shut unit down.<br />

Note: Control board dip switch number 7 must be ON for<br />

this control to operate the unit.<br />

3. CAPACATIVE PROXIMITY SWITCH: KM-1300NRF<br />

This control is used only on the KM-1300NRF model which<br />

was designed tor 42 inch beverage dispenser applications.<br />

You will find it only on this specific model. The control<br />

works by sencing mass (in this case, ice) within 1/2 to 1<br />
