<strong>STRATEC</strong> backs up its corporate strategy, which is aimed<br />
at achieving sustainable growth, with continuous and transparent<br />
communications with capital market participants.<br />
Our aim is to retain investors’ trust and to attract new investors.<br />
<strong>STRATEC</strong>’s investor relations activities ensure that<br />
investors, analysts and the business and financial media<br />
are actively provided with continuous, up-to-date information<br />
about the company’s business performance.<br />
Our financial calendar, which is published in the <strong>annual</strong><br />
report, quarterly reports and on our company’s homepage,<br />
allows shareholders to inform themselves of important<br />
dates regularly and with sufficient notice. In the <strong>2009</strong><br />
financial year, <strong>STRATEC</strong> published six press releases, four<br />
ad-hoc announcements, one extensive <strong>annual</strong> report and<br />
three interim reports. Via our electronic newsletter, we<br />
drew readers’ attention to the publication of press releases<br />
and ad-hoc announcements, as well as to special events<br />
relating to <strong>STRATEC</strong>.<br />
One core component of our investor relations activities<br />
involves the teleconferences held upon publication of our<br />
interim reports, as well as upon publication of any other<br />
important news about the company. Alongside these, we<br />
also hold numerous one-to-one meetings every year and<br />
give presentations at capital market events in which the<br />
Board of Management presents the company and outlines<br />
its underlying business model in extensive detail to investors<br />
from Germany and abroad.<br />
Analysts’ recommendations are one of the key instruments<br />
in helping shareholders and investors to reach an<br />
opinion about a share. Eight institutions regularly reported<br />
on <strong>STRATEC</strong> in extensive studies and brief analyses in the<br />
<strong>2009</strong> financial year. As well as Berenberg Bank, Crédit<br />
Agricole Cheuvreux, Goldman Sachs, HSBC Trinkaus &<br />
Burkhardt, Landesbank Baden-Württemberg, Viscard and<br />
WestLB, Commerzbank now also regularly compiles reports<br />
about <strong>STRATEC</strong>.<br />
