The uplift in sentiments was<br />
reflected in the Survey of Business<br />
Expectations of the Manufacturing<br />
Sector for 1Q 2010 conducted<br />
by the Economic Development<br />
Board between December 2009<br />
and January 2010. The survey<br />
showed that business sentiments<br />
in the manufacturing sector are<br />
expected to continue improving<br />
in 1H 2010, with a weighted 21% of<br />
firms expecting business conditions<br />
to improve and a weighted 7%<br />
projecting deterioration. Overall,<br />
a net weighted balance of 14% of<br />
