Primary Liaison<br />
Many Year 6 pupils enjoyed the e-safety<br />
transition lessons using Movie Maker and<br />
Flash Animation s<strong>of</strong>tware.<br />
iPad Club<br />
The school’s iPad club has enjoyed a fun<br />
packed year. The pupils have enjoyed being<br />
able <strong>to</strong> use the iPads throughout the year<br />
and have produced some lovely work. The<br />
members have experienced using iMovie,<br />
GarageBand as well as graphics apps <strong>to</strong> produce<br />
some interesting work. The group have<br />
especially enjoyed using the Maths challenge<br />
games and the biology dissection<br />
apps!<br />
This has given<br />
pupils the opportunity<br />
<strong>to</strong><br />
experience the<br />
iPads and explore<br />
the many<br />
apps the school<br />
has purchased<br />
for the different<br />
subjects.<br />
Key Stage 3<br />
Key stage 3 classes have had a packed term<br />
studying databases, graphics, desk <strong>to</strong>p<br />
publishing and presenting information work.<br />
They have had the opportunity <strong>to</strong><br />
collaborate with each other as well as work<br />
individually <strong>to</strong> produce another term <strong>of</strong><br />
excellent work. A number <strong>of</strong> pupils are <strong>to</strong><br />
be commended for their lesson participation,<br />
achievement and effort <strong>this</strong> year including:<br />
Year 7 pupils; Felicity Allen, Jack Ruelle,<br />
Joshua Cook, Tom Atkinson, Joe Hitches,<br />
Mary-Kate McGrath and John Mark<br />
Jones. Year 8 pupils; Seb Ackerman,<br />
Lauren Ellis, Sam Holland, Georgia<br />
Howe, Emily Skinner, Sam Staple<strong>to</strong>n and<br />
Jessica Teague.<br />
Key Stage 4<br />
Year 9 option pupils have completed some<br />
excellent work <strong>this</strong> year, they have particularly<br />
enjoyed web design and editing html.<br />
Additionally, Year 9 option pupils David Bird,<br />
Joshua James, Sean Mian and Callum<br />
McSorley have enjoyed learning some<br />
programming skills with Codeacademy.<br />
Year 10 pupils Jack Bosley and Rhodri<br />
Guerrier have very successfully held a<br />
programming club all year teaching Years 7 –<br />
10 how <strong>to</strong> programme with Python.<br />
Year 10 option pupils have submitted their<br />
graphics unit <strong>to</strong> the exam board and awaiting<br />
confirmation <strong>of</strong> their results. Well done <strong>to</strong> all<br />
pupils involved. There were many excellent<br />
pieces <strong>of</strong> work submitted by students, these<br />
include; Simon Barber, Jack Bosley, James<br />
Caple, Sebastian Dumitrescu, Rebecca<br />
Egerstrom, James Harvey, Sasha Horrobin,<br />
Katie Macleod, Thomas Mullett, Mark<br />
Nor<strong>to</strong>n, Joshua Lewis and Rebecca Rahman.<br />

Key Stage 5<br />
At AS and A2, exceptional Graphics and<br />
Multimedia projects were produced by Ben<br />
Ware and Jemma Pitt as part <strong>of</strong> their A2.<br />
Also congratulations <strong>to</strong> Balaji Krishna who<br />
produced a flawless AS Computing project.<br />
