Life’ event. Amy Walsh and Lily-May Williams<br />
helped with the cake sale for the<br />
Joshua Foundation and Amy Walsh has also<br />
taken part in a charity concert.<br />
Alfie Chambers, Jordan Fitt and Ieuan<br />
Hicks have also contributed <strong>to</strong> events in aid<br />
<strong>of</strong> the Joshua Foundation and Cian Byrne,<br />
Tom Collins and Jorawar Hayer all completed<br />
the mile run for Comic Relief. Olivia<br />
North sings for the Welsh National Opera<br />
and has performed at Buckingham Palace for<br />
Prince Charles. She is also a member <strong>of</strong> the<br />
girls choir and has achieved grade 4 in her<br />
singing qualifications. Cian Byrne is grade 4<br />
piano and grade 2 clarinet, Thomas Sharpe<br />
has achieved grade 8 piano and grade 7 violin<br />
and Elizabeth Ingram is grade 5 for both<br />
piano and violin.<br />

Hermogeno is the year representative on the<br />
<strong>School</strong> Council and is also an Eco <strong>School</strong><br />
representative. Land Rover visit :The following<br />
pupils <strong>to</strong>ok part in <strong>this</strong> successful<br />
visit, with the company being very impressed<br />
and complimentary about the whole school<br />
group; Tristan Goodway-Sims, Alex Lean,<br />
Megan Lim and Benjamin Turpin.<br />
Alice Bright and Thomas Sharpe have carried<br />
out their duties as form representatives<br />
with diligence <strong>this</strong> year and have been excellent<br />
ambassadors for the form.<br />
William Gale plays at county level in<br />
cricket, football and rugby and has played<br />
rugby for Penarth in the final <strong>of</strong> the South<br />
Wales Cup. Alex Lean has achieved Level 2<br />
in windsurfing and Ieuan Hicks is a member<br />
<strong>of</strong> the school badmin<strong>to</strong>n team. Alice Bright<br />
was a member <strong>of</strong> the vic<strong>to</strong>rious trampoline<br />
team in the schools’ competition and Rachel<br />
Short was a member <strong>of</strong> the Welsh gymnastics<br />
team as well as having trials for the<br />
group champion at Penarth swimming club.<br />
Jorawar Hayer represents the Cardiff and<br />
Vale cricket team and Amy Walsh is the non<br />
-age group champion at Penarth swimming<br />
club. Shaun Donovan is a member <strong>of</strong> the<br />
school gymnastics team and finally, Megan<br />
Lim is a member <strong>of</strong> the vic<strong>to</strong>rious school<br />
badmin<strong>to</strong>n team that won the national title.<br />
Elizabeth Ingram is grade 6 for ballet and<br />
tap dance, Kyrsty Jones is a member <strong>of</strong> the<br />
school choir and Megan Lim has achieved<br />
We are sure that the year group will go from<br />
strength <strong>to</strong> strength next year and congratulate<br />
all the pupils who are taking advantage<br />
<strong>of</strong> the many opportunities <strong>of</strong>fered <strong>to</strong> them<br />
both inside and outside <strong>of</strong> school.<br />
