Life’ event. Amy Walsh and Lily-May Williams
helped with the cake sale for the
Joshua Foundation and Amy Walsh has also
taken part in a charity concert.
Alfie Chambers, Jordan Fitt and Ieuan
Hicks have also contributed to events in aid
of the Joshua Foundation and Cian Byrne,
Tom Collins and Jorawar Hayer all completed
the mile run for Comic Relief. Olivia
North sings for the Welsh National Opera
and has performed at Buckingham Palace for
Prince Charles. She is also a member of the
girls choir and has achieved grade 4 in her
singing qualifications. Cian Byrne is grade 4
piano and grade 2 clarinet, Thomas Sharpe
has achieved grade 8 piano and grade 7 violin
and Elizabeth Ingram is grade 5 for both
piano and violin.

Hermogeno is the year representative on the
School Council and is also an Eco School
representative. Land Rover visit :The following
pupils took part in this successful
visit, with the company being very impressed
and complimentary about the whole school
group; Tristan Goodway-Sims, Alex Lean,
Megan Lim and Benjamin Turpin.
Alice Bright and Thomas Sharpe have carried
out their duties as form representatives
with diligence this year and have been excellent
ambassadors for the form.
William Gale plays at county level in
cricket, football and rugby and has played
rugby for Penarth in the final of the South
Wales Cup. Alex Lean has achieved Level 2
in windsurfing and Ieuan Hicks is a member
of the school badminton team. Alice Bright
was a member of the victorious trampoline
team in the schools’ competition and Rachel
Short was a member of the Welsh gymnastics
team as well as having trials for the
group champion at Penarth swimming club.
Jorawar Hayer represents the Cardiff and
Vale cricket team and Amy Walsh is the non
-age group champion at Penarth swimming
club. Shaun Donovan is a member of the
school gymnastics team and finally, Megan
Lim is a member of the victorious school
badminton team that won the national title.
Elizabeth Ingram is grade 6 for ballet and
tap dance, Kyrsty Jones is a member of the
school choir and Megan Lim has achieved
We are sure that the year group will go from
strength to strength next year and congratulate
all the pupils who are taking advantage
of the many opportunities offered to them
both inside and outside of school.
