It has been another successful year for
Emma Davies who has continued to excel in
cricket—she has represented Sully, Newport,
Cardiff and the Vale and the Welsh team.
She has also found time to pass on her
knowledge to the U11 Newport Squad.
Caleb Docking is involved with U16’s Cardiff
Blues squad (see picture on previous
page) and Katie Moger ran in the ‘Race for
Life’. Sian Smith will be performing in a
dance production for the National Dance
Company Wales.

Abigail Hodges won a UK dance competition
in London where she was lucky enough to
meet Diversity! Liam Quinn continues to play
football for Sully and Tom Moreton has
played tennis for Penarth.

Scott Dutfield was a member of the team that
reached the regional finals in Tennis. He also
plays for Penarth Windsor Tennis Club.

Lois Crandon is a member of a horse riding
team who qualified for the National Championships
for showjumping and cross country
called “The Festival of the Horse”. Hazel
Doran has passed her grade 8 in Cello.
Alex Collins had an audition for a Nintendo
advert in London. Owain Osborne-Walsh is
clearly an entrepreneur in the making as he
won 3 awards in a recent Young Enterprise
event involving many schools—watch out
Lord Sugar!! Seren James passed her bronze
exam in figure skating and her grading in karate.

Tom Mullett won the English karate Open
competition (see above). Madeleine Roberts
and Alicia Chapple are in the process of arranging
an 8 mile walk/jog to fund raise for
the “Make a Wish” foundation.
We wish our Year 10 cohort every success
with their GCSE module results this summer.
We are sure that all their hard work and revision
will pay off! Good luck everyone!
