Year 10<br />

10W<br />
It has been another successful year for<br />
Emma Davies who has continued <strong>to</strong> excel in<br />
cricket—she has represented Sully, Newport,<br />
Cardiff and the Vale and the Welsh team.<br />
She has also found time <strong>to</strong> pass on her<br />
knowledge <strong>to</strong> the U11 Newport Squad.<br />
Caleb Docking is involved with U16’s Cardiff<br />
Blues squad (see picture on previous<br />
page) and Katie Moger ran in the ‘Race for<br />
Life’. Sian Smith will be performing in a<br />
dance production for the National Dance<br />
Company Wales.<br />
10R<br />
Abigail Hodges won a UK dance competition<br />
in London where she was lucky enough <strong>to</strong><br />
meet Diversity! Liam Quinn continues <strong>to</strong> play<br />
football for Sully and Tom More<strong>to</strong>n has<br />
played tennis for Penarth.<br />
10K<br />
Scott Dutfield was a member <strong>of</strong> the team that<br />
reached the regional finals in Tennis. He also<br />
plays for Penarth Windsor Tennis Club.<br />
10L<br />
Lois Crandon is a member <strong>of</strong> a horse riding<br />
team who qualified for the National Championships<br />
for showjumping and cross country<br />
called “The Festival <strong>of</strong> the Horse”. Hazel<br />
Doran has passed her grade 8 in Cello.<br />
Alex Collins had an audition for a Nintendo<br />
advert in London. Owain Osborne-Walsh is<br />
clearly an entrepreneur in the making as he<br />
won 3 awards in a recent Young Enterprise<br />
event involving many schools—watch out<br />
Lord Sugar!! Seren James passed her bronze<br />
exam in figure skating and her grading in karate.<br />
10O<br />
Tom Mullett won the English karate Open<br />
competition (see above). Madeleine Roberts<br />
and Alicia Chapple are in the process <strong>of</strong> arranging<br />
an 8 mile walk/jog <strong>to</strong> fund raise for<br />
the “Make a Wish” foundation.<br />
We wish our Year 10 cohort every success<br />
with their GCSE module results <strong>this</strong> summer.<br />
We are sure that all their hard work and revision<br />
will pay <strong>of</strong>f! Good luck everyone!<br />
