Nanoforum - Nanotech Regulatory Document Archive

At the moment there is no government organisation related to nanotechnology in
Lithuania. Relevant to the nanotechnological field is the Lithuanian Government
decision NR. 1182 of July 19, 2002 On the Approval of the Research and Technical
Development Priorities of Lithuania. Priority 1.3 is about Research for the development
of nanotechnologies. (1.31 Nanoscience, 1.3.2 Nanotechnologies, 1.3.3 Development of
multifunctional nanostructured materials). Of further interest for the field of
nanotechnology is Government decision NR. 431 of April 3rd, 2003 on National
Scientific priorities.
Also, the Programme of High Technologies of Lithuania -support of research and
development in the field of Nanotechnology by Lithuanian State Science and Studies
Foundation offer funding possibilities.
