this center include:
o Study of solid and liquid materials including their structure, properties and
synthesis.
• Centre for advanced material research and technology (CAMART), at the
University of Latvia - Institute of Solid State Physics. Its activities include:
o computer modelling of advanced materials;
o semiconductors, insulator materials and thin film structures;
o advanced dielectrics for multifunctional applications;
o materials for ophthalmology and vision science;
o solid-state ionics and devices.
